Repurpose without sounding like a template

The reason most repurposing tools produce content nobody posts is that it does not sound like anyone. Voice is a solvable problem. Here is how.

Theo Marchetti, Co-founder and CTO · May 28, 2025 · 5 minute read

You can spot machine-written content in a second. It is not that the grammar is wrong. It is that it sounds like no one. Every sentence is the average of a million posts, and the average has no voice. That is why so much repurposed content gets generated and never gets posted.

Voice is a sample problem

The fix is not a clever prompt. It is a sample. Give a model a few paragraphs of how you actually write, and ask it to carry that rhythm, that vocabulary and that level of formality into the rewrite, while pulling the ideas from your recording. The ideas are yours already. The only job is to phrase them the way you would.

The ideas come from your recording. The phrasing comes from your voice. The template comes from nowhere, because there is no template.

What we do about it

  • Verso rewrites every format against your saved voice profile, not just the newsletter.
  • You can keep several voices, for a show and a client, and pick one per project.
  • Everything is editable before it leaves Verso, because the last five percent is yours.

Model-agnostic on purpose

Verso routes each step to the model that does it best and can switch labs with a config change, so voice quality keeps improving as the models do.

Verso turns this recording into a week of content

Paste a transcript or a link and get clip scripts, a thread, shorts captions, a LinkedIn post and a newsletter, all in your voice. One project a month is free.
