About

Built by people who felt the gap between recording and posting

Verso exists because the best ten minutes of a two-hour episode kept ending up in the file and nowhere else. Language models are the first technology that can actually close that gap.

Why we built it

The best moments stayed buried

Nadia ran content and social for a podcast network for six years. Every week the team recorded two or three hours of genuinely good conversation and turned it into a single episode upload. The shareable moments, the clips that would have stopped a scroll or earned a share, went nowhere because finding them and rewriting them for every platform took five hours the team did not have.

That is not a niche problem. It is the default state for anyone who records long: podcasters, founders doing video, webinar teams, course creators. They have hours of material and a fraction of it ever reaches the people who would have wanted it.

Theo spent eight years building language systems for long-form text, most recently summarization and retrieval over transcripts. When the two of them described the problem to each other, the shape of the solution was clear: read the whole transcript the way a good editor would, find the moments worth pulling out, and rewrite each one for the platform it belongs on, in the creator's own voice.

We are careful about what we claim. Verso finds moments and rewrites them. Every output is a rewrite of something the creator actually said, quoted verbatim from the transcript. Verso does not invent. You decide what gets published.

The team

9 people, building AI full time

Five of them are below. Everyone is based in the United States and nobody here has a second job: Verso is what we do.

Nadia Whitfield

Co-founder and CEO

Austin, TX

Ran content and social for a podcast network for six years and watched great hour-long episodes turn into a single upload while the best ten minutes never left the file. Verso is the team she wished she had had.

Theo Marchetti

Co-founder and CTO

Austin, TX

Spent eight years building language systems for long-form text, most recently summarization and retrieval over transcripts. He owns the moment-detection pipeline, the model routing layer and the voice-matching that keeps every output sounding like the creator.

Camille Okonkwo

Founding Product Engineer

Austin, TX

Builds the output board, which is the whole product. Her rule: a creator should be able to copy something worth posting within thirty seconds of a project finishing, without editing a word if they do not want to.

Dev Anand

Founding Engineer

Remote, US

Works on the parts nobody sees: transcript ingestion that survives a messy caption file, timestamp alignment so a clip points at the right ninety seconds, and the queue that keeps a two-hour episode inside one request.

Sarah Behn

Head of Creator Growth

Brooklyn, NY

Ten years editing and packaging short-form video for creators. She owns the corpus of what actually earns a watch: how a hook has to land in the first second, why a caption reads differently than a script, and where a thread breaks.

The people and investors named on this page are illustrative. Verso is a demonstration company and we would rather say so plainly than have you find out later. Everything about the product is real: the repurposing engine, the voice matching and the free tier all work as described.
